Informative safety signs are used to indicate escape routes, escape and emergency exits, first aid sites or safety devices, in particular main shutters and controls and direction to their location. Informative signs of safe conditions, leakage options and safety devices must be placed in suitable locations and be clearly visible and easily recognizable. The directions of escape and emergency exits must be indicated in all premises where the public may be present, or persons in employment or similar employment relationships. This marking may not be carried out in buildings with exits to the clear space, which are clearly visible and accessible from each location.

The escape and emergency exit signs or first aid points and first aid call devices shall be rectangular or square with a white pictogram on a green background. The white pictogram occupies at least 50% of the mark area.
